Just yesterday, we reported on the purported pricing of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A34 and A54 where it appeared that both phones would end costing more than their predecessors, which is a bit of a hard pill to swallow considering that these devices are meant to be mid-rangers.
The good news is that both phones could end up being slightly cheaper than what was previously reported. According to a tweet by reliable tipster Roland Quandt of WinFuture.de, the new pricings that he has revealed ended up being 499 Euro for the base Galaxy A54 model, and 399 Euro for the base Galaxy A34 model.
Galaxy A series 2023 pricing:
A54:
499 Euro 8/128GB
549 Euro 8/256GBA34:
399 Euro 6/128GB
479 Euro 8/256GB— Roland Quandt (@rquandt) March 8, 2023
For context, the earlier report suggested that the Galaxy A34 could be priced starting at 419 Euro, while the Galaxy A54 could be priced starting at 519 Euro. That being said, Quandt does note that the prices could be different due to taxes and duties, so there is a chance the previous report could still be correct, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
Quandt also suggests that these prices in Europe does not necessarily reflect how much the phones will cost in the US, and that if and when the phones do launch stateside, they might end up being cheaper, but once again that’s just something we’ll have to wait and see when Samsung makes both the Galaxy A34 and A54 official.
