The Redmi K60’s Specs are Looking Good

0

Xiaomi is no stranger to launching multiple smartphone models under its many sub-brands – in fact, this plays an integral role in the company’s strategy of gaining precious marketshare in multiple regions, with a majority of focus on developing markets. As such, its upcoming Redmi K60 – the most premium model in the K60 series so far – is tipped to arrive with some interesting features.

According to a post in the Weibo forums (subsequently shared by the folks over at Playful Droid), the Redmi K60 is expected to feature an OLED screen with 1.5K screen resolution and a high refresh rate, and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. No other details regarding the phone’s internal hardware were given, although it wouldn’t be too surprising to see more leaks pop up in the weeks and months to follow.

As for availability, the Redmi K60 is expected to make its debut in Q3 2023. It will be the latest addition in the Redmi K60 series, which was previously introduced in late 2022 and includes the Redmi K60 Pro, K60, and K60 E. No pricing was mentioned at this moment, either.
