Back in 2021, Nothing launched their first-ever product in the form of the Nothing Ear (1), a pair of true wireless earbuds. While the market might be saturated with such devices, one of the reasons the Ear (1)s stood out was due to its funky-looking design which used see-through materials in its construction.
The earbuds themselves were pretty decent as we found in our review, but if you were hoping for an update to the earbuds, then you’re in luck. This is because Nothing has since confirmed that the Ear (2) will be officially launching on the 22nd of March, 2023, which means that we’ll have more details about the Ear (1)’s successor in the coming weeks.
The company will be hosting a live reveal on the day itself at 7AM PT/10AM ET which users can watch on its website. Those who want to stay updated can also go to the company’s website and register their email and you’ll be notified when the event goes live. Alternatively, you can always check back with us here on Phandroid for the rundown.
At the moment not much is known about the Nothing Ear (2). Presumably the design of the earbuds will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, but according to Nothing’s website, we should be able to expect better sound and better clarity, although we’ll have to try it out ourselves to see if those claims are true!
