There are many flagship smartphones to choose from in 2023, but some of them come with a hefty price tag. If you’re looking to save a bit of money, then Vivo might have something for you.
At MWC 2023, Vivo has taken the wraps off its latest flagship offering in the form of the Vivo V27 Pro. This is a phone that features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display while also sporting a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset can be found.
Granted the Dimensity 8200 isn’t as powerful compared to the Dimensity 9000 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which has made its way into several high-end phones of 2023, but it is more than capable of getting the job done, thanks to its 3.1GHz CPU.
The Vivo V27 Pro will also come with a triple camera setup on the back. One of which is a 50MP main shooter that uses a Sony IMX766V sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera, with a LED ring flash unit to top things off.
The phone will also come with a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging, and will run on Funtouch OS 13 which is based on Google’s Android 13 update. The Vivo V27 Pro will be available in 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB configuration options, and will be priced starting at around $459.
