OnePlus’ official Chinese webpage has finally confirmed that the company is close to launching its new handset, the OnePlus Ace 2V. The new device is scheduled to launch on March 7 in China at 2:30PM local time, and will come with some familiar features as well as design.
For one, the fan-favorite “alert slider” switch makes a return, a feature that differentiated earlier OnePlus phones from other Android handsets. While the company has not announced any specifics regarding what hardware the phone packs, it’s expected that the device will feature a 120Hz display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, and will ship with Android 13.
In terms of design, the phone will come with a glossy finish, surrounded by flat sides. The triple-lens camera on the rear panel also comes alongside with double LED flash, while the front display will feature slim bezels and a hole-punch camera. A video on the webpage teases the design, which you can check on the link below.
In other OnePlus-related news, the company also presented its concept variant of the OnePlus 11 at MWC 2023, which features a new liquid-cooling system, as well as a more futuristic-looking design, with glowing accents across the rear panel of the device. Dubbed the “Active CryoFlux” system, OnePlus says that it enables the device to greatly lessen heat build-up during gaming and charging.
