Bad news for non-US Samsung Galaxy S23 customers

0

So the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S23 seems to be a bit all over the place at the moment. The latest rumors are now suggesting that the phone’s price might remain the same in the US, but might change for other markets around the world.

So far, markets like Spain and Denmark have been “confirmed” to see a price hike, and now it looks like we can add Germany to the list. This is according to a report from WinFuture.de’s Roland Quandt who claims that the price of the Galaxy S23 might see an increase in Germany.

Based on this, it would seem that this could eventually apply to the rest of the European Union market. We’re not sure about prices in Asia, Africa, or South America, so we’ll have to wait and see, but earlier leaks did seem to suggest that Australia (and possibly New Zealand since they’re part of the Oceanic region) could also see a price bump.

We’re not sure why the US market has been spared from this price increase, but perhaps due to currency fluctuations and the economic situation in other parts of the world that could have forced Samsung to increase the price of their phones. Either way, we should have more details in the coming weeks once Samsung officially announces the devices.
