OnePlus teases its upcoming mechanical keyboard

0

OnePlus is a company probably best known for their phones, but they have been expanding their portfolio to include devices like earbuds, smartwatches, a rumored tablet, and now it looks like they will be getting into the mechanical keyboard market.

In a teaser video posted onto its website, OnePlus has shared some images of what the upcoming keyboard will look like. The company had previously confirmed back in December 2022 that they will be launching their own mechanical keyboard that was designed in collaboration with Keychron, and now these teaser images show us what to expect.

For those unfamiliar, Keychron is a company known for putting out affordable mechanical keyboards, and for the most part based on what we can see, it seems that the upcoming OnePlus keyboard doesn’t look too different from what Keychron already offers, except in a new colorway and also a new knob design.

If you’re familiar with Keychron’s keyboards, then this probably doesn’t look entirely unfamiliar, which we suppose is a good thing. There is no word on pricing just yet, but presumably it should be around the same price Keychron charges for its keyboards. We expect more details will be revealed on the 7th of February, so check back with us then for the updates.
