For years it has been rumored that OnePlus could be planning their own tablet. It kind of makes sense since a lot of other handset makers like Oppo, Samsung, Huawei, and so on all have their own tablets, so why not OnePlus, right?
Now it looks like after years of waiting, we could be getting close to a launch. This is according to a report from MySmartPrice in which they discovered that the OnePlus Pad is currently undergoing testing over in India. Not much is known right now about the OnePlus Pad, but apparently it won’t be a high-end tablet and that it might end up being a budget device.
The specs are also rumored to include a 10.36-inch IPS LCD display with a 2K display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, and a 7,100mAh battery with 18W charging to top things off. In terms of launch, it is said that it will probably launch alongside the OnePlus 11R which is rumored to be launching in June 2023, so it might be a while before we see the tablet.
So far it doesn’t sound like a very powerful or feature rich tablet, but it could be a good alternative for shoppers who don’t need a very high-end tablet and just want a device with a larger screen to watch videos on or to surf the web with.
