Samsung officially sets the date for its Galaxy S23 Unpacked event

0

After countless leaks, rumors and even an accidental reveal from Samsung, we finally have the official launch date for the upcoming Galaxy S23 smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 devices will be shown off at Samsung Unpacked 2023 on February 1 at 10 a.m. PT. This will be the first in-person Samsung launch event since the Galaxy S20 was unveiled, just days before the world shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While this is Samsung’s first in-person smartphone launch in three years, other manufacturers have held their own in-person events for the past 3-6 months. Members of the press, influencers and others who attend the event will have the opportunity to see the launch event in person, but everyone will be able to tune into the Livestream that will be hosted on samsung.com and other platforms as well.

Samsung is officially kicking off reservations for its Galaxy S23 lineup as well. Similarly to what we saw last year, Samsung is offering additional credit for those who reserve a device between January 10 and February 1 with $50 Samsung Credit when you pre-order one device or $100 Samsung Credit when you pre-order two devices. The reservation is non-commital, only requiring your name and email address.

Samsung will likely be offering additional pre-order deals once the phone is officially unveiled on February 1.
