CES 2023 is all about discovering cool and innovative products that add value to the tech that we already use (or are planning to use), and as such we’ve seen several brands and OEMs announce some impressive hardware this week at Las Vegas. In fact, smart-lighting expert Yeelight has unveiled several new products at the event, all designed to integrate with smart home platforms including Matter, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.
These include the upcoming Yeelight Cube Smart Lamp for entertainment, Automatic Curtain Opener for home automation, and the Smart Scene Panel and Magnetic Track Lights for its premium smart lighting series. Yeelight offers different product categories including “Yeelight Home” for daily use, “Yeelight Fun” for entertainment, and “Yeelight Pro” for professional whole-house smart lighting design and applications. Yeelight-branded products will be compatible with a smartphone app for full user control.
In particular, the Yeelight Cube Smart Lamp falls under Yeelight Fun portfolio, and contains three types of units including Spot, Matrix and Panel, which can be customized and assembled for specific desktop set-ups. For Yeelight Home, the company offers the Yeelight Automatic Curtain Opener which adds a nice bit of automation for home living set-ups.
Yeelight also announced plans to launch a string of Matter-compatible smart bulbs in the future, which likewise fall under the Yeelight Fun series. As for Yeelight Pro, the entire portfolio will likewise support Matter with a simple OTA update before Q2 2023. Additionally, the company launched its Smart Scene Panel and Magnetic Track Lights for international markets.
