Robot vacuum cleaners are incredibly useful gadgets, especially if you’re the type that’s too lazy or too busy to clean their homes on a regular basis. This is because robot vacuums can be scheduled so that even if you’re not home, cleaning can be done, and they’re usually smart enough to find their way around your home and go back to their base stations when they’re done.

If you’re thinking about maybe hopping on board the robot vacuum bandwagon, then you might be interested to learn that Roborock has recently announced the launch of its brand new lineup, the Roborock S8 series. This will consist of three new models that include the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the S8+, and the S8.

With the launch of the new S8 series, the company is introducing some brand new hardware and features to the lineup. For those who have the money to spend, the S8 Pro Ultra could be for you. It features a new RockDock Ultra system that offers up features like automatic mop washing, dust emptying, self-refilling, and self-cleaning.

There is also a drying feature to ensure that the mop heads are dry when they’re done cleaning to prevent the growth of mold or odors.

But regardless of which model you go for, the S8 series will all feature incredibly strong suction power at 6,000Pa. Roborock has also introduced a new dual rubber roller brush that can pick up on dirt more effectively and prevent hair tangles. The lineup will also utilize a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance system which can identify obstacles and move around it.

If you’re keen on Roborock’s new S8 series, it will be available for purchase starting in April and will be priced starting at $749.99.
