These days, as our media content becomes higher in quality and the cameras on our phones are taking photos at higher resolution, it means that the storage on our phones needs to be more. Long gone are the days when 16GB could cut it.
That being said, if you are planning on getting the Samsung Galaxy S23, you might be interested to learn that according to tipster Ahmed Qwaider, it seems that the Galaxy S23’s base storage could actually be doubled from its predecessor.

For context, the Galaxy S22’s base storage came in at 128GB, but according to the post, the Galaxy S23 could be double that which means that we could be looking at 256GB of base storage. We’re not sure if there are plans to also increase the price of the phone as well, or if Samsung could continue charging the same price as the Galaxy S22.
Either way, it’s not a bad thing that Samsung is doubling the storage since it means that users won’t have to decide to get the next tier in storage, which is usually more expensive, if they are trying to save some money. Either way, Samsung is expected to officially announce the phone soon, so we should have more details in the coming weeks.
