Xiaomi and Redmi fans are in for a treat – a new teaser from the Chinese electronics giant has confirmed the upcoming launch of the Redmi K60, confirmed in an online post. An image shared online shows a partial shot of the phone’s design, which seems to feature a carbon fiber-styled rear panel with a triple-camera array. The device is set to be revealed on December 27 at 7 PM in China.
Xiaomi says that the phone will be able to compete and even surpass dedicated gaming smartphones, as it will come with a high-end MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
Additionally, it’s expected tha the Redmi K60 series will come with three devices which include the base model Redmi K60E, the standard Redmi K60 version, and the Redmi K60 Pro. 3C Certification shows that the first two models will have support for 67W charging, while the high-end version will be equipped with 120W super-fast charging.
In other Xiaomi news, the company recently launched the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition, which comes with support for 210W HyperCharge. The phone’s 4,300 mAh battery can be charged from zero to a hundred percent in under ten minutes, which is rather impressive for a non-flagship device.
