Headphones are a dime a dozen, especially Bluetooth headphones which are more common these days than ever. With there being so many options to choose from, you might be finding it a hard time deciding which headphones are the best for you.

There are headphones that offer a beautiful design but might compromise on audio quality, then you have headphones that are expensive because they are from a well-known brand. If you’re looking for a good pair of headphones that can get the job done, offers up good quality audio, noise cancellation, and won’t cost you an arm and a leg, then perhaps the OneOdio A10 could be worth taking a look at.

Flexible design

For anyone who has worn a pair of headphones, you might have noticed that for some models, after a few minutes it can start to feel a bit uncomfortable where your ears get a bit hot and you feel the headband clamping on your head a bit too tightly.

Then there are other headphones that you can wear for hours on end and barely feel a thing. OneOdio has designed the A10 with this in mind by using true protein memory foam that will offer users a greater degree of comfort while the headphones rest on their ears. The company claims that it will ensure maximum comfort when wearing the headphones all day long.

The headband itself is also designed to be stretchable and adjustable, which means that if you have a bigger head or a smaller head, it does not matter because the band can be adjusted to suit your head accordingly.

While not directly related to comfort, the A10 also features a pair of earcups that can be rotated both left and right and folded flat. This will allow for easier storage with the accompanying pouch so that you can pack it up and slip it into your bag when you’re done and it won’t take up too much space, unlike other headphones that features a more rigid design.

Hybrid noise cancellation

Noise cancellation has become one of the standard features that we’re seeing in a lot of consumer-grade headphones these days, so it’s no surprise that OneOdio has included the feature with the A10 headphones.

With the A10, the company has included what they are calling hybrid noise cancellation technology. It features dual noise-detecting microphones that can pick up external noise and filter it out. This is said to result in the blocking of 95% of low-frequency ambient sound, which means that the hum of the airplane engine, or the rumbling of the train or the sound of the bus wheels on the road should be drowned out.

The company says that the noise reduction can go as low as 35dB, which should be more than sufficient for most use case scenarios. It will also be perfect if you’re working outdoors like in a cafe and you need to focus on your work and don’t want the sounds of people talking to distract you.

It is also perfect if you just want to enjoy your music because blocking out external noise can play a role in your music enjoyment. Speaking of music, the A10 supports Hi-Res audio with a dual sound chamber design. This will help separate the audio frequencies from each other to deliver “hyper pure and clear” sound.

Transparency mode

While the OneOdio A10 does boast pretty good noise cancellation tech, there might be times when you need to hear what’s going on around you. For example, you might be walking in public so it’s usually a good idea to be aware of your surroundings, and that’s where the A10’s transparency mode comes in.

It functions similarly to transparency mode that you might find on other headphones with noise cancelling tech, where it reduces the sound from the headphones and boosts sound from the outside, like the voices of people. This means you don’t have to take the headphones off if someone is talking to you or if you need to keep an ear out for announcements while at the airport, train station, and so on.

Long-lasting battery life

One of the downsides of Bluetooth headphones is battery life. With wired headphones, battery life is a non-issue, so obviously having a long-lasting battery is key, especially if you’re out a lot and don’t always have access to a charger.

With the OneOdio A10, the company has equipped the headphones with a battery that is rated for up to 50 hours of usage on a single charge. This means that even if you listen to music 24 hours a day, it should be able to last you for two days straight and then some!

But realistically speaking for day-to-day use,  you should be able to squeeze about a week’s use before needing to charge. In terms of charging, OneOdio says that the A10 can be fully recharged in just 1.5 hours, which all things considered is pretty fast. If you’re a bit pressed for time, you can charge it for just 10 minutes and you will be able to get 5.5 hours out of it which should be enough to get you through the rest of your day.

Last but not least, there is also support for wired mode. This means that in the worst case scenario where you cannot charge the headphones, you can always attach the cable and use it in wired mode until you have access to a charger.

Multi-point connection

Given that a lot of headphones and earbuds feature Bluetooth connectivity these days, it actually makes it perfect for connecting to multiple sources at once, such as your phone, laptop, tablet, and so on.

The problem is that with some headphone models is that they do not support multi-point connectivity. This means that if you wanted to switch between sources, you’d have to disconnect it first and reconnect it on your other device. While it’s not exactly the most inconvenient thing in the world, it does make it annoying if you switch back and forth often.

This is where the OneOdio A10 shines. It features support for multi-point connections. According to the company, users will be able to pair the A10 with two Bluetooth devices at the same time, so switching back and forth will be a lot easier and seamless and a less painful process.

Considering that there are more expensive headphones out there that do not support this feature, this is actually one of the more attractive features of the A10 if connecting to multiple devices at once is a must-have feature for you.

Pricing and availability

So, if you are convinced that the OneOdio A10 could be the perfect pair of headphones for your needs and is within your budget, it is priced very affordably at $80. This is actually a great price considering the specs and features you’re getting, making it one of the best value for money noise cancelling headphones we’ve seen out there and you can pick up a pair for yourself at Amazon.
