Twitter is in a bit of a mess right now ever since Elon Musk took over. He has made huge changes to the way Twitter operates and following his take over, he has ruffled some feathers to the point where there have been talks that maybe the app could be removed from app stores owned by Apple and Google.
While we doubt that will happen, Liz Wheeler of The Liz Wheeler show did pose the question to Musk, stating that if that ever happens, Musk should just build his own phone, to which Musk responded by saying that if push came to shove, he would have to develop an alternative phone to the iPhone and Android.
I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone

Seeing as how Musk has embarked on some very interesting projects in the past, like with The Boring Company and the Hyperloop, creating his very own smartphone doesn’t seem entirely out of the question or the realm of possibility. But there is the question of whether or not such a phone would sell, especially in the current market where iOS and Android are the dominating platforms.
In any case, nothing has been confirmed so we doubt we will be seeing such a phone anytime soon, but what do you think? Should Elon Musk make his own smartphone alternative to iOS and Android?
