The Realme 10 launches globally with a starting price of $229

The phone market is vast and there are phones priced at a variety of price points to appeal to different customers and needs and budgets. If you’re shopping on a budget and don’t want to spend too much on a smartphone, then you might be interested in checking out the Realme 10.

The company has announced the global launch of the phone in which the main selling point would be its price where the phone is priced starting at $229, making this a great value for money handset if money is an issue.

In terms of specs, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek G99 chipset and will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED 2400×1080 display with a 90Hz refresh rate and support for 360Hz touch sampling. It also boasts a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and has Gorilla Glass 5 for its glass cover.

It will also come with as much as 8GB of RAM and also support 8GB of dynamic RAM, which basically means that it can borrow memory from the phone’s storage if it needs additional RAM to process more intensive apps or tasks. Realme has also equipped the phone with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP B&W secondary camera.

The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging that will allow the phone to fully recharge back up to 100% in about 70 minutes. The phone will be launching in Poland, Italy, Indonesia, and the Philippines first before making its way to other markets.
