NVIDIA proves they haven’t forgotten about the Shield TV in its latest update

When it comes to device updates, we usually see companies start to slow things down after a couple of years as they focus more on new products. Thankfully, NVIDIA isn’t like most companies. If you happen to be the owner and are still using the NVIDIA Shield TV, then you might be interested to learn that the company has pushed out a new update for it.

This update comes in the form of the Shield Experience 9.1.1 and it comes with a bunch of bug fixes for existing issues, but also adds some new power controls to the device, giving users a bit more flexibility in how they control their devices. According to NVIDIA, here are some of the enhancements that are part of the update:

Like we said, there are also some bug fixes, like fixing the problem where the Shield TV app would not launch properly on Samsung’s Galaxy handsets. In any case, while it is a minor update, it’s good to know that NVIDIA hasn’t forgotten about its Shield TV owners just yet.
