Zorua fans, rejoice – the sly shape-shifting hound from the beloved Pokemon franchise finally arrives for the mobile spin-off title, Pokemon GO. Of course, this also includes Zoroark, its more powerful evolved form – the news was revealed in a new update from the Pokemon GO Live team.
As per the teaser on the game’s webpage:
“Are we seeing double? Has your Buddy Pokémon multiplied? No, it’s just one of Zorua’s tricks! That’s right—Zorua is now appearing worldwide in Pokémon GO! Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokémon, and Zoroark, the Illusion Fox Pokémon, will make their Pokémon GO debuts! Zorua will appear in the wild…but will you be able to see through its illusions?”
Zorua’s debut coincides with Pokemon GO’s Halloween Part II event, which runs from Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The event will include increased encounter rates from Dark and Ghost-type Pokemon, including Haunter, Murkrow, and Dusclops, to name a few. Of course, trainers should keep an eye out for shiny variants floating about out there.
Trainers will also be able to grab special event-themed items from the in-game shop, including a Dusclops Costume and Head wrap, Zubat Headband, and a Zorua Onesie.
