Verizon is guaranteeing the price of its 5G Home Internet for the next 10 years

If you look at the prices of what we used to pay for mobile services from a few years ago and today, you might have noticed that in some instances, you would have ended up paying more, or at least getting less than what you used to pay for. This is the nature of things as companies tend to increase prices to help deal with increasing costs.

For those who aren’t a fan of these occasional price hikes, Verizon has announced a 10 year price guarantee for its 5G Home Internet services. This will cover 5G Home, Fios and LTE Home Internet products for new customers where if you sign up now, you’ll be able to lock in the prices you’re paying today for the next 10 years.

“For a limited time, Verizon is offering new Verizon Home Internet customers – 5G Home, LTE Home and Fios Internet – a price guarantee for 10 years. That means the monthly base price for service you’ll pay today is the price you’ll pay for Home Internet until 2032. No strings attached.”

Keep in mind that Verizon’s wording only says that this applies to the monthly base price, which basically means the price you’re paying for the actual service. It will not cover things like equipment rental, which could potentially increase down the road, so it’s something to take note of.

Either way, it’s not too bad of a deal especially since it means it’s one less thing you might not need to worry about. The downside is that this only applies to new customers, so if you’re already signed up, then you’re out of luck.
