One UI 5 beta now available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3

0

Recently, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S22 will be getting the Android 13 update this month in the form of One UI 5. But what about the company’s other phones? We did hear that the update could arrive for the company’s flagship phones from 2021 and 2022 by the end of the year, and it certainly looks like it’s progressing that way.

For our friends and readers based in the UK and South Korea, it appears that Samsung has opened up the One UI 5 beta program for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, which was one of the best foldable phones from 2021. Users of the handset who are keen in taking part can download the Samsung Members app and sign in using the same Samsung account and register yourself for the beta program.

Of course, we should point out that since this is a beta which means that it is subject to change and there could be bugs that haven’t been ironed out yet, plus there could also be instances of app incompatibility, it might not be the best idea if you’re using the Flip 3 as your daily driver.

But for those who are curious and don’t mind taking the beta for a spin, you will be able to do so. Samsung is expected to open up the One UI 5 beta for the Flip 3 in more regions later on, so if you don’t live in the UK or South Korea, you’ll  just have to wait. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a new foldable, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is actually enjoying a $100 discount if you want to save yourself some money and get one of the best foldable phones of 2022.
