Come 6th of October, Google will be officially announcing their next-gen Pixel smartphones, the Pixel 7 series. The company initially teased the handset at I/O earlier this year, and this announcement is expected to unveil the handset in full.
If you’re looking to get your hands on the phone, then you might be interested to learn that pre-orders will be kicking off on the 6th of October, the same day the Pixel phones will be announced. This actually comes as a bit of a “leak” in a recent video that Google had posted.
The video in question brings together randomly-selected Pixel fans to give them a sneak peek at the upcoming device, and in the video, there is a small caption that reveals the pre-order date. We’re not sure if this was done on purpose or if Google didn’t realize it was there before they released the video, but either way, we now have our dates.
Of course, the next question will be how much will the new Pixel phones cost? At this point in time, we have no idea, but we imagine that it should be around the price of the Pixel 6 series. The Pixel 7 is expected to come with the next-gen Google Tensor chipset and the event will most likely cover all the changes and improvements Google made to its new chipset.
So if you’re looking forward to the new Pixel phones, remember to check back with us on the 6th of October for all the official details.
