If you own any of Samsung’s somewhat older Galaxy Tab S6 series devices, then you’re in for a treat – Samsung has finally released its monthly software patch for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 device range, bringing new stability and security patches for its tablet line.

The software patch comes with One UI version 4.1.1, and is currently available in some European regions, with a wider global roll-out expected soon. With that said, German Wi-Fi and LTE models of the Galaxy Tab S6 will get the update with version number T86xXXU4DVH2, with version number P615XXU4EVI1 for Galaxy Tab S6 Lite owners in France.

Interestingly enough, the Tab S6 update will get with the August 2022 security patch, while the Tab S6 Lite will get the more recent September patch.

Aside from improvements to security and performance, the update arrives with new taskbar updates and gestures for “Multi-View” and “Pop-Up Window,” to name a few. One UI 4.1.1 also comes with new different call background effects for contacts, as well as improvements to “My Files,” the keyboard, and wallpaper customisation options.

To check if your tablet can download the newest update, simply head into Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to check if your device is eligible for the latest software patch.
