The Galaxy Note 10 Lite Just Got a New Update

If you happen to own the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, then you’re in for a treat – the “budget flagship” handset from the Korean electronics giant finally received a new software patch, which brings some much-welcome bug fixes and security updates.

The new update comes with software version number N770FXXS8GVH3, and is now available for users in France, although more regions should soon receive the update as well. It’s expected that the update will bring stability and performance improvements in addition to addressing security issues.

Launched back in 2020, the Note 10 Lite was a rather interesting device as it was essentially an “affordable” variant of Samsung’s flagship Note series, with a slight downgrade in specs and build materials. It was released alongside the Galaxy S10 Lite, and ran on an Exynos 9810 chipset, paired with a choice of either 6 or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. As with other Galaxy Note devices, it also featured a built-in S-Pen, and came with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite also launched with Android 10, and eventually received an update for Android 12 with One UI 4.1.

To check if your phone can download the newest update, simply head into Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to check if your device is eligible for the latest software patch.
