The problem with TVs is that depending on where you live, getting a huge TV might not be very practical, plus it can also be expensive and take up a lot of space. This is why some people might actually prefer projectors, and if that’s you or if you’re considering a projector instead of a TV, you’re in luck.
This is because Xiaomi has officially announced the Projector Mini. The company has dabbled in projectors before so this is actually their latest model. It weighs around 1.2kg which is pretty decent, not too heavy, not too light, and has a battery life that is good for about 2 hours.
It also features Xiaomi’s Xiao AI digital assistant and there is even a gaming mode with 40ms of latency, so unless you’re playing very competitive games that require little to no latency, 40ms is actually decent for most games and for the average user. There is also built-in NFC support so you can pair it with a smartphone just by tapping it.
Right now, the Xiaomi Projector Mini is only available in China where it is priced around the $400 mark. We’re not sure if there are plans to bring it stateside, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
