The Insta360 X3 takes 360-degree videos to the next level

Insta360 changed the way we take videos. While it’s not necessarily a camera for the masses, it definitely has its appeal amongst YouTubers and vloggers who might be able to appreciate the ability to capture footage all around them and pick and choose what they want to show to their audiences.

If the idea of being able to shoot 360-degree video appeals to you, then you might be interested in checking out Insta360’s latest camera – the Insta360 X3.

According to the company, the Insta360 X3 will come with a bunch of hardware upgrades over its predecessors. We’re talking about the use of an upgraded 1/2-inch sensor which is great because larger sensors means more light and data can be let in, resulting in better quality photos and videos.

It will be able to capture 72MP 360-degree photos, record 5.7K 360-degree video with Active HDR, 4K single-lens mode, 8K timelapses, and also the invisible selfie stick effect for third-person views that will help open the door for more creative forms of video capture and editing.

The new Insta360 X3 will also be rugged in design where it will be waterproof up to 33 feet, so unless you plan on doing deep sea diving, the Insta360 X3 should be more than capable of withstanding the elements like rain, or being taken to the beach or the pool. It also sports a 2.29-inch touchscreen display with tempered glass for added durability.

If the Insta360 X3 sounds like a camera you might be interested in, it will be priced at $449.99 and will be available for purchase from Amazon.
