T-Mobile is making switching carriers a lot easier
Switching carriers can feel daunting because our phones are almost like our lifeline these days, so without cellular coverage or connectivity, we do lose a lot of access to a lot of things we do daily, like making calls, sending messages, surfing the web, watching videos, listening to music, and so on.
But the good news is that if you’ve been considering switching carriers, T-Mobile has announced a new feature in its app called Easy Switch. What this does is that it leverages the eSIM feature found in many smartphones these days so that you can quickly sign up with the carrier on the spot without having to step foot into a T-Mobile store.
If you’re not sure if T-Mobile is the carrier for you, not to worry because in addition to Easy Switch, T-Mobile has also announced that its Network Pass will give customers a free 3-month trial so that they can try T-Mobile’s network for an extended period of time for free before making the final decision.
That being said, keep in mind that in order to make the switch, users will need to have a phone that’s unlocked, meaning that if you’re on contract, then you’ll either have to pay it off or wait till it expires before making the switch.
