Meet Fitbit’s Newest Wearable Line-up

After several months of speculation, rumors, and discussion, Google and Fitbit have finally taken off the wraps on the newest line-up of Fitbit smart wearables, which come in three different flavors. The Fitbit Sense 2, Fitbit Versa 4, and Fitbit Inspire 3 are the latest smartwatches to hit the tech scene, and they come with some new updates to software, features, and design.

With that said, we’ve prepared a quick round-up of some key features that you can expect from the new devices. They all pack some attractive-looking hardware combined with a suite of health-tracking and fitness features, all designed to help you stay in shape. Let’s take a look.

Fitbit Sense 2

The Fitbit Sense 2 is the brand’s most high-end smartwatch, and it comes with a set of premium health-tracking features like heart rate variability, skin temperature, atrial fibrillation, and a brand-new Body response sensor, that according to Fitbit measures CEDA for stress-management uses. The battery is also equipped to last users an average of six days, making it a great choice for users on the hunt for a wearable device with a dependable battery.

In terms of design, it greatly resembles the first-generation Fitbit Sense, although it now comes with an updated sensor layout on the bottom of the watch, as well as a button on the left side, replacing the capacitive input sensor of its predecessor. It still runs on Fitbit’s own custom OS, and not on Wear OS as was previously thought.

Fitbit Versa 4

Up next we have the Fitbit Versa 4, the latest iteration of Fitbit’s popular Versa series. Like its more expensive sibling, it features a familiar-looking design with rounded edges, and likewise comes with a redesigned sensor layout and control button on the side. Like the Sense 2, it also comes with six-day battery life for added power.

The Versa 4 comes with over 40 exercise modes, support for real-time stats checking, built-in GPS, Active Zone Minutes, and Premium features like Daily Readiness Score. Additionally, the watch does support new exercise options like HIIT, weight lifting, CrossFit and dance workouts. Like the Sense 2, it also comes with Fitbit’s custom operating system.

Fitbit Inspire 3

Last but not the least on here is the Fitbit Inspire 3, an update to the more affordable fitness band series from the Google-owned brand. The Fitbit Inspire 3 is strictly an entry-level health tracker, making it an ideally affordable choice for people who are only after the fitness necessities from their device. It has support for 24/7 activity tracking, heart rate tracking, sleep, stress, to name a few.

The Inspire 3 also comes in a sleeker-looking design with a color touchscreen, and can last for up to 10 days of battery use.

Pricing and Availability

When it comes to pricing, the Fitbit Inspire 3 is available for pre-order over at Fitbit’s website for $99.95 (USD), and comes with a six-month Premium membership for new and returning customers. The tracker will be available worldwide in September.

Meanwhile, the Fitbit Versa 4 and Fitbit Sense 2 will be available for $229.95 and $299.95, respectively, and are now up for pre-orders. They will launch a bit later than the Inspire 3 though, with a scheduled release later this Fall.
