Android 12 Goes Live for the Nokia 3.4
As we get closer and closer to the launch of Android 13, several major phone manufacturers have taken the initiative to keep their devices updated with the latest Android 12 OS update – one such company is Nokia, which has recently launched its Android 12 update for the entry-level Nokia 3.4 handset.
The new update is identified as Android 12 (V3.280), and is now available for users in India. In addition to Android 12, the new update brings over some new features, which include the Privacy Dashboard, accessibility improvements such as area magnification, bold text, and grayscale, conversation widgets, as well as the June 2022 security patch. The update comes in at 1.72GB, which pretty standard for most system-wide OS upgrades.
The Nokia 3.4 is one of the last entry-level Nokia handsets to come with purely numerical model names, before the company shifted its branding scheme to the “G” and “X” series phones. It features a 6.39-inch display with 720 x 1560 pixel resolution, a triple-camera set-up on the rear panel with a 13MP main camera, 5mp ultrawide lens, and 2MP depth sensor and 8MP front-facing camera, and a 4,000 mAh battery. The phone initially launched with Android 10.
The easiest way to check if your phone is eligible for an update is to head to the Settings App, and type in “System Update” to quickly access the update menu. The update should be available to more countries in the coming days and weeks.
