Samsung has recently confirmed that they will be officially unveiling their new foldable smartphones next month. One of those devices is the Galaxy Z Flip 4, successor to 2021’s Galaxy Z Flip 3. We expect that during the event, Samsung will unveil the price of the phone.
For those who can’t wait that long and are curious about the cost, the folks at Pricebaba have managed to get their hands on that information, courtesy of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore.
In a way we can’t say that we’re too surprised. Given the current economic situation right now with inflation, it’s not a stretch to think that Samsung would be taking that into account when pricing the phone. We’re not sure how much it would cost when it comes stateside, but if it’s more expensive in Euros, we expect that the US version should also see a slight increase.
Hopefully the price increase won’t put users off. Samsung recently revealed that they had shipped 10 million foldables in 2021, and the $999 Flip 3 probably played a big role in that. Pricing it higher could potentially dissuade would-be customers, but we’ll have to wait and see.
