The Oppo Reno 8 Pro has landed, giving Oppo fans a new mid-range device that promises to deliver significant improvements when it comes to its camera capabilities.
Oppo’s Reno devices have always had decent cameras, but the company is putting in the extra effort to make them stand out this year by including its MariSilicon X, the same ISP that made its debut on the flagship-tier Oppo Find X 5 Pro earlier this year. With the new chip, the phone’s 50MP primary camera is capable of delivering 20-bit ultra dynamic range which is a 42.9% dynamic range improvement over the Reno 7 Pro.
While the MariSilicon X mainly allowed for better low-light performance, the main camera on the Reno 8 Pro performs incredibly well in pretty much any lighting condition. Take a look at our camera test video and image gallery below to see how the Oppo Reno 8 Pro performs in everyday use.
