Another day, another new POCO phone. Xiaomi’s former sub-brand has announced that it will be launching a new handset soon, in the form of the POCO X4 GT. The official POCO Twitter page shared a photo of the upcoming device, which is set to be revealed via an online event on the 23rd of June.

The announcement follows the global launch of the POCO F4 GT, which comes with the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, additional trigger buttons, as well as a more gaming-centric design. The online launch event will also reveal the POCO F4 5G, which will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, and will feature LiquidCool 2.0 technology, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, as well as a hardware design which features a flat and angular look with rounded corners.
POCO typically launches multiple models for entry-level, mid-range and flagship price brackets, similar to Xiaomi’s “Mi” and “Redmi” smartphone series. The brand also recently announced the affordable POCO C40, which comes with entry-level hardware specifications.
While not much information about the X4 GT was given, POCO fans and potential buyers can expect a full rundown of the phone’s hardware and internal specifications once the phone is officially announced at the June 23 event.
