Samsung has done a good job of providing updates for its smartphones over the past few months, and as a result, several Samsung handsets have been issued their respective monthly updates. More recently, the latest June 2022 software update has arrived for international variants of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, which brings some new features.
The update comes with software version number F711BXXS2CVEE, which brings the latest June software patch, and addresses several security and stability issues on the phone. The update also includes performance upgrades to the camera, such as auto-framing for video calls, and improved photo quality for social media apps.
You can check if your device is eligible by heading over to the Settings App, navigating to “Software Update,” and tapping “Download and Install” to initiate the download process. Recently, the carrier-locked version of the Z Flip 3 likewise received the June 2022 update, although it was exclusive for owners of the device in the United States, which typically sees large amounts of smartphones sold through carriers.
Originally launched in 2021, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is part of Samsung’s line of foldable Android devices, which also includes the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 6.7-inch folding AMOLED screen, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
