Over the past few months, multiple Samsung Galaxy Android phones have been receiving updates left and right, which includes several of the company’s old and new handsets. More recently, the latest June 2022 software update has arrived for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, specifically the carrier-locked version of the handset, which is sold in the United States.

The update comes with software version number F711USQU2DVEE, which brings the latest June software patch, as well as fixes for several security and stability issues that users may have had with the device. The update is currently live for owners of the device in the US, and you can check if your device is eligible by heading over to the Settings App, navigating to “Software Update,” and tapping “Download and Install” to initiate the download process.

Originally launched in 2021, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is part of Samsung’s line of foldable Android devices, which also includes the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 6.7-inch folding AMOLED screen, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

More recently, several leaks showing the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 4 have been making rounds online, and it’s rumored to come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, larger battery, and slightly faster wireless charging capabilities.
