The other day, leaked renders of the alleged OnePlus 10T surfaced. It showed a new camera module design with the Hasselblad branding on the back. Now according to new renders shared by MySmartPrice in collaboration with Yogesh Brar, it suggests that the Hasselblad branding might be dropped from the phone.
It’s actually a little bit confusing because the previous renders were supposed to be the OnePlus 10T, but assuming that these renders are accurate, either the design changed or this current render is actually for the OnePlus 10. We’re leaning more towards the latter because if you recall, there were rumors suggesting that OnePlus could be launching a non-Pro version of the OnePlus 10.
If that is indeed the case, it would actually make sense that the company might want to reserve the Hasselblad camera technology for the Pro model to differentiate it. Plus, the leak of the OnePlus 10T did keep the Hasselblad branding, indicating that OnePlus could be looking to use Hasselblad for its higher-end models.
Plus, the fact that these renders look more akin to the OnePlus 10 Pro, there is a good chance we could be looking at the lower-end OnePlus 10 instead. In any case, as with all leaks, it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now until an official announcement has been made.
