Another day, another software update – Samsung’s efforts in providing timely software support for its users have been very impressive, and the company has rolled out the latest June 2022 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra.
Currently, the update is available for users in Germany, and comes with the firmware version number G998BXXU5CVEB. The June security patch fixes a number of privacy and security concerns, and overall fixes for device stability.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 devices were originally launched back in 2021, although the S21 FE was released earlier this year.
Samsung has kept its word regarding timely software updates and support for its phones, and even some of its older flagship models like the Galaxy Note 9 are still receiving security patches. The company’s latest One UI 4.1 software platform has also made it to several devices, a lot of which fall under the Galaxy S and A-series line of phones.
The new update for the S21 series is expected to roll out to more regions soon. If you own an S21-series phone and want to check if you have the update, simply head to your Settings App, and navigate to “Software Update,” followed by “Download and Install” to initiate the update process.
