We’ve seen many collaborations between phone brands and movie studios in the past, but if you’re more of an anime/manga fan, then you might be pretty excited to learn that over in China, Realme has announced its latest collaboration smartphone, the Realme GT NEO 3 Naruto Edition.
For those who aren’t in the anime/manga loop, Naruto is one of the most popular series around. It has spawned dozens of volumes of manga and hundreds of anime episodes since it first launched back in 1999. While the series has officially concluded, it is still one of the most popular anime in history.
With the Realme GT NEO 3 Naruto Edition, the phone itself is exactly the same as the regular version. This means that users can expect the same 6.7-inch 2412×1080 120Hz display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, 6-12GB of RAM, and a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro.
With the Naruto Edition, the company has themed the design of the phone around the anime, giving the back of the phone an orange and black finish with micro 3D patterns, and on the camera module, there is a symbol of Konohagakure, the village Naruto is from. There are also some UI customization, like Naruto performing his Rasengan move while the phone is being charged.
There are also HD wallpapers, a Naruto-themed interface, and the packaging has been shaped like a scroll and will also feature a customized phone case. The Realme GT NEO 3 Naruto Edition is currently only available in China where it is priced at RMB2,799 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and there will only be 5,000 units available.
