The phone would have normally been priced at $282, but it seems that the carrier has decided to reduce its price down to nothing. It also appears that this does not require users to trade-in their old devices, so you get to keep your old phone and get a new phone at the same time.
Of course, there is a catch and that is the $282 discount will be given back to you in the form of monthly credits over the period of the installment plan, which is essentially a contract. You will get your money back eventually, but you will need to be locked in with a T-Mobile plan for a period of time.
It is still a pretty decent deal considering that the OnePlus Nord N20 5G is a pretty decent handset with decent specs. Sure, it might not be as powerful as the OnePlus 10 Pro or other flagship phones, but if you want a phone on the cheap or want a secondary device, this could be a deal worth checking out.
