As we get closer and closer to the next wave of Google Pixel devices, more leaks occasionally make their rounds throughout the internet. A recent image showcasing the Pixel 7 Pro’s design has surfaced, giving us an idea of what to expect with Google’s 2022 flagship device.
The image comes from TechGoing and show a case listing for the Pixel 7 Pro. Case manufacturers often have dummy models of upcoming phones in order to test the fit and size of their cases, and based on these photos it seems that the Pixel 7 Pro will retain the signature camera bar on the rear panel, which was first introduced last year with the launch of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
The front of the case is also designed to allow access to the curved edges of the display, indicating that Google will retain the curved screen seen on the Pixel 6 Pro. It’s interesting to note that no front camera cut-out is shown, although this doesn’t necessarily mean that Google will be ditching the front camera soon.
In addition to the Pixel 7 series, it’s expected that Google might also show off the much-anticipated Pixel 6a, during this year’s Google I/O event. It’s scheduled to be held on May 11-12, and if the numerous leaks and rumors are true, then we might see the next mid-range Google phone during the two-day conference.
