Fans of Samsung’s Galaxy “A” series phones have a lot to look forward to this year, as new photos of another A-series handset have emerged online. Several images showing the company’s upcoming galaxy A04s handset have been leaked, revealing some key design features.
The photos – released by GizNext and OnLeaks – show the phone’s external look which features a teardrop notch, a unibody design (most likely polycarbonate given its entry-level status), as well as a side-mounted fingerprint reader built into the power button, set below the volume rocker. Meanwhile, the phone’s rear panel has a typical modern triple-camera setup, accompanied by an LED flash.
Additionally, it’s expected that the Galaxy A04s will come with a 6.5-inch display and a 5,000 mAh battery, as is the trend with a lot of affordable handsets these days. It’s speculated that the device might see an initial launch in India, with other regions to follow, although there’s no official word from Samsung yet regarding this.
The leaks follow the launch of Samsung’s newest Galaxy A33 and A53 devices, which come equipped with the company’s newest Exynos 1280 chipset, high-refresh AMOLED displays, and IP certifications. Both phones are also expected to receive up to four years of Android OS upgrades.
As for the Galaxy A04s, bargain phone hunters will have to wait a bit for an official device launch from Samsung.
