Earlier this year, Realme launched the Realme 9 Pro+, a handset that offered good specs for a reasonably affordable price. In our review, we described it as a device that “definitely stands out from an increasingly crowded pack.” With that said, the brand has recently announced a special edition of the handset, in collaboration with popular mobile game Free Fire.
The special edition of the phone will feature design accents that reference in-game elements, as well as packaging that comes with official stickers, artwork, and Free Fire merchandise featuring Kelly, one of the characters from the game.
The phone’s key specs include a 6.4-inch super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 5G chipset, a 4,500 mAh battery, Dolby Stereo speakers, a triple camera set-up with a 50-megapixel main sensor, up to 256GB of internal storage, and 8GB of RAM.
Garena’s Free Fire currently ranks among one of the most popular mobile games, joining other multiplayer shooters like Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG, and Fortnite. The special edition of the Realme 9 Pro+ will be available to order online for a limited time, although it is exclusive to European buyers at the moment, and will be priced at around 370 Euros on Amazon.
