Sennheiser is quite the mainstay brand when it comes to consumer audio equipment. If you were a fan of the company’s true wireless earbuds offerings in the Momentum True Wireless 2.0, then you might be interested to learn that Sennheiser has since announced the third iteration of the earbuds.
With the Momentum True Wireless 3.0, it appears that Sennheiser has given the earbuds a redesign. Gone are the shiny panels on the sides of the earbuds. Instead, the company has opted for a somewhat matte finish with the logo emblazoned in black, giving it a more sleek and stealth-like appearance.
Of course, the changes aren’t just on the surface. Sennheiser has also given the earbuds new hybrid adaptive noise cancellation technology, and it will also feature 7mm drivers and a total of three microphones on each earbud, which should help make your calls clearer. The Momentum True Wireless 3.0 also uses Bluetooth 5.2 and supports codecs like SBC, AAC, and aptX.
Sennheiser also claims that the earbuds are good for 7 hours of listening time, and using it together with the charging case should give you up to 28 hours of total listening time with ANC enabled. The earbuds are priced at $250, which is actually $50 cheaper than its predecessor, and is expected to be available in May.
