Xiaomi’s spin-off POCO brand is mostly recognized for making affordable Android handsets with decent hardware specs, but occasionally the brand does delve into “non-smartphone” territory. With that said, new information has shown up online about the brand’s first-ever wearable device.
Product renders of the device, which will likely be named the “POCO Watch” were showcased in a report from Digit.in, in collaboration with OnLeaks. The photos show the POCO Watch with a square design, similar to a number of other smartwatches on the market and the Apple Watch in particular. It’s highly possible that the wearable will come with a 1.60-inch AMOLED display, a button for device operation, and all the usual array of fitness and health tracking hardware. The watch is also predicted to feature 5ATM water resistance, and will come with a 225 mAh battery.
Additionally, a Twitter post by POCO’s Philippine social media team teased the watch itself, in an event scheduled for the 26th of April. We previously mentioned that the POCO F4 will be officially unveiled during the event as well.

In addition to the POCO Watch, the upcoming F4 handset will succeed last year’s POCO F3, and will come with Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, up to 12GB of RAM, and Android 12 pre-installed.
