Sennheiser unveils its SPORT True Wireless earbuds that can reduce sounds from your own body

When it comes to earbuds, there are many types out there. There are some designed for regular consumers, then there are those aimed at audiophiles, then there are also some that are designed for specific uses, like for sports and fitness.

If you fall in the sports/fitness camp and are looking for a new pair of true wireless earbuds, then Sennheiser might have something for you. The company has announced its latest pair of earbuds in the form of the SPORT True Wireless. While Sennheiser is not new to the sports earbuds market, this set of earbuds do come with a unique feature.

According to Sennheiser, this feature is called Adaptable Acoustic. What this means is that it allows users to choose between open or closed ear adapters and make changes to the equalizer to craft the ideal sound they want for their workouts. It can even be configured in such a way that it can help reduce bodily noises like breathing, your heart beat, footsteps while you run, and so on.

The earbuds themselves feature a pair of 7mm drivers, touch controls, and voice assistant support. They are also IP54 rated so it should be able to withstand a bit of sweat at the gym. The earbuds also come with support for various codecs such as SBC, AAC, and aptX. If Sennheiser’s latest earbuds are something you might be interested in, pre-orders are live where you can reserve a pair for $130 and they are expected to ship May 3.
