Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six will be making its way onto mobile

Mobile games have come a long way from the early days where most mobile games were made simply to show off the tech of smartphones, like the use of the touchscreen display, the accelerometer, gyroscope, and so on.

In fact, in recent years we’ve seen some mobile games that feature graphics that make some PC games pale in comparison. That being said, if you’re a fan of FPS games, then you might be interested to learn that Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six will be officially making its way onto mobile in the future.

According to Ubisoft:

“Players will face off in 5v5 Player-vs-Player (PvP) matches in the core game mode: Attack vs. Defense. Attackers will deploy observation drones to gain intel and strategically breach through destructible walls, floors and ceilings, while defenders will barricade all entry points and use spy cameras or traps to secure their location. By blending strategy with teamwork, players will experience the thrill of intense close-quarter combat as they alternate between attacking and defending to win it all.”

The company notes that the game has been developed and optimized for mobile devices in mind. They also add that there will be exclusive modes in the game and will also feature customizable controls.

There is currently no set release date yet,  but if you’re really keen, Ubisoft has opened up registrations on its website where players can sign up and stand a chance to be selected to participate in upcoming tests ahead of its release.
