Huawei’s new MateStation X AIO desktop computer looks awfully familiar

0

Huawei might be best known for their mobile devices, but the company also makes computers like laptops and desktops. In fact, at MWC 2022, the company has unveiled its latest AIO desktop system called the MateStation X which we can’t help but looks a bit like a monitor belonging to a certain fruit company.

Similarities aside, the MateStation X is quite a beast under the hood as far as AIO desktops are concerned. The computer features a massive 28.2-inch 3840×2560 IPS LCD touchscreen display, and it is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor. It also sports 16GB of RAM, a 1TB M.2 NVMe storage, and comes with WiFi 6 support.

The company has bundled a wireless keyboard and mouse and interestingly enough, the keyboard comes with a fingerprint sensor built into it for authentication, which once again seems rather familiar. There are two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports and a headphone jack if you don’t want to go full wireless, and it will also come with Windows 11 preinstalled.

In terms of pricing, the MateStation X doesn’t seem to be a cheap affair. It is priced starting at €2,199 in Europe. For our US readers, it seems unlikely that the MateStation X will ever make it stateside given the current sanctions against the company, so don’t hold your breath.
