Here are some new renders of the Pixel 7

0

Yesterday, we got our first look at CAD renders for Google’s 2022 flagship lineup in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. While the renders for the 7 Pro were a bit more in-depth, the ones for the standard Pixel 7 weren’t as much.

Today, @OnLeaks (via CARHP) is back again with a few better-looking renders that give us a look at what Google’s smaller Pixel will look like when it arrives this Fall. Matching up with yesterday’s reveal, the Pixel 7 is expected to largely retain the same design as its predecessor, complete with the camera bar that spans the width of the back of the phone.

However, instead of separating the camera bar from the frame of the phone, the renders show that everything will blend together, akin to what we’ve seen from the Galaxy S21 Ultra and other phones. While the renders provided show off the Pixel 7 in its “Cloud White” colorway, Google is expected to pretty much offer the same colors in 2022 as are currently available with the Pixel 6.

In terms of dimensions, this is where the biggest change will be, as the Pixel 7 measures in at 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.7mm. This is a bit smaller than what the Pixel 6 measures in at with its dimensions of 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9mm.

Unlike yesterday’s leak, we also were presented with some potential details regarding what the Pixel 7 will have to offer under the hood. This includes either a 6.2-inch or 6.4-inch display with the same hole-punch selfie cutout at the top. Powering the phone will be the unannounced Google Tensor 2 chipset, paired with the Titan M2 security co-processor. We could see three storage configurations this time around, instead of topping out at 256GB as the Stormy Black Pixel 6 does.

Despite slimming things down from a design perspective, this leak suggests that Google will use a larger 5,000mAh cell in the Pixel 7. And as for the rear cameras, the Pixel 7 is likely to keep the dual 50MP wide-angle and ultra-wide lenses, leaving the telephoto lens for the Pixel 7 Pro.

While March is right around the corner, we still have a long ways to go before the Pixel 7 will officially be unveiled. So we expect to see and hear a whole lot more before it’s all said and done.
