Usually when we think of entry-level devices, we think of low-end specs that are frankly nothing to shout at, but Nokia could have something on their hands that could please the budget shopper or someone who’s looking for a secondary smartphone and doesn’t want to spend too much money.
The company has unveiled the new Nokia G21 smartphone which comes with some pretty cool features like a 90Hz display along with a battery that the company claims is good for up to three days.
The specs of the phone include a 6.5-inch LCD 90Hz display, which is a first for Nokia’s G-series lineup. Under the hood, the handset is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. There is also a triple camera setup on the back which includes a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
As for the battery, it is a 5,050mAh battery that Nokia says will last users as long a 3 days if they’re willing to drop the display’s refresh rate down to 60Hz, which we suppose is fair and for the most part, 60Hz is the standard anyway so unless you absolutely need 90Hz, having three days of battery sounds like a better choice.
The Nokia G21 is expected to be available soon where it will be priced at €170 and will be available in Nordic Blue and Dusk.
