This year, it’s safe to say that the majority of foldable smartphones released pretty much all came from Samsung. Next year will be a very different story because we can expect to see more foldable phones from other brands, and Honor will be one of them.
Just the other day the company announced the Magic V, their first foldable phone that they will be revealing soon, and now the company has published a new teaser video giving us sneak peeks as to what the foldable phone could look like.
For the most part, judging from the teaser video, the Magic V will be adopting a similar foldable design as other phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the recently announced Oppo Find N, both of which are smartphones that can be unfolded into a tablet-like device.
There is currently no word on the specs and features of the Honor Magic V, except for its display where it will feature a 6.5-inch display on the front, and when unfolded it will feature an 8-inch display. More than likely it will probably be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but as for the rest, it’s really anyone’s guess.
Honor has made a name for itself while it was under Huawei as being the more budget-friendly alternative, so we have to wonder if the company’s first foldable will continue that trend.
