These are the specs of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE

0

Earlier this year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Now it looks like the company is gearing up to launch its successor with a handset codenamed OnePlus Ivan, which according to a report from 91mobiles is expected to be known as the OnePlus Nord 2 CE.

Thanks to tipster Yogesh Brar, the publication managed to get their hands on the alleged specs of the upcoming phone and assuming they’re accurate, here’s what we can expect from it:

  • 6.4-inch AMOLED (90Hz) display
  • MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC
  • Up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage
  • 64MP + 8MP + 2MP rear camera setup
  • 4,500mAh battery (65W charging)

It’s not the most impressive handset by any means, but then again, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G was never designed to be a flagship phone in the first place, but a budget device, so we expect that its successor will most likely follow in its footsteps. As to what the phone could look like, it is unclear, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it were to share some resemblance to its predecessor.

Other details about the phone include how the device will most likely be made out of plastic, which should help keep costs down, and how it will also come with a Gorilla Glass, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Also, according to the tipster, the phone will be priced between Rs 24,000 to Rs 28,000, which after conversion is roughly $316, so once again, it looks like OnePlus will be keeping the price relatively low. The phone is also rumored to debut either towards the end of January 2022 or mid-February, so check back with us in the coming months for more details.
