The Realme GT 2 Pro is giving us serious Nexus 6P vibes

Taking a look back at some of the most impressive phones of the year, and it’s easy to put Realme right at the top of the list. The company has been releasing various devices across different price points, all of which aim to bring a fantastic experience, no matter the budget.

Realme isn’t stopping there, however, as the company has confirmed the name for its next flagship in the Realme GT 2 Pro. Instead of arriving in a limited release, as we’ve seen with previous handsets, the GT 2 Pro will be available to “users worldwide”.

Until now, not much information about Realme’s upcoming flagship has been revealed, but that’s now beginning to change. Thanks to @OnLeaks and 91mobiles, the first renders of the GT 2 Pro have surfaced. At first glance, you might think this is just a re-invented Nexus 6P, and we can understand why with the unique camera visor that spreads the width of the phone on the back.

Some of the rumors for the GT 2 Pro point to the device making use of a ceramic back panel, paired with a traditional aluminum frame. Unfortunately, we aren’t exactly sure of what the front of the phone looks like, but it’s safe to assume that Realme will integrate a hole-punch selfie camera.

While Realme has confirmed the name of its next flagship, there’s no indication as to when the phone will actually be unveiled, let alone when it will be made available. We’re also hoping that the mention of a “worldwide” launch means that those of us here in the U.S. will be able to get our hands on the phone more easily than before.

Finally, rumors indicate that the GT 2 Pro will be priced around $799, which would make it the most expensive Realme phone to date. But if the phone features flagship specs with this sleek design, it still comes in around the same price as the Pixel 6 Pro, and would definitely be an instant contender.
